Two years ago I created A TABLE FOR 100.  It is a dinner charity fundraiser where each guest pays 100 euros and enjoys an evening of delicious food, local wines and live entertainment.   Without the help of the sponsors providing all the food and wine, location, chefs, waiters, bar, bus service and more, this event would not be profitable.  But it is profitable and last year we earned almost 12,000 euros for two cancer charity groups here in Mallorca.

This year I am working on a new idea, 100K FOR CANCER.  This will be a 100 km charity bike ride where each rider will bring in a minimum of 500 euros each.  The cyclists will ride 100 km through the Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca.  Our goal is 100,000 euros with 200 participants.  To make this a profitable event we again need corporate sponsors whose sponsorship money or materials will provide the necessary funding to help us achieve our goals.  Their corporate donations will drive 100K FOR CANCER bike ride forward and in the end will make it possible for us to reach our goal of 100,000 euros to be donated to three cancer groups here in Mallorca.

Please take a look at the below sponsorship package and if you know of any corporate sponsorship possibilities please contact me and let me know.

SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE

Tour De Tramuntana  100K For Cancer Bike Ride
Now is your chance to become part of Mallorca’s first charity bike ride against cancer.  Differentiate your company from the rest by taking part in this year’s event and help by supporting Tour De Tramuntana and let Mallorca know that you care!

On November 9, 2014 we will be hosting the first annual TOUR DE TRAMUNTANA – 100K For Cancer Bike Ride, here in Mallorca.  Our goal this year is to have 200 bicyclists raise through donations a minimum of 500 euros each for a total of 100,000 euros.  90% of all proceeds will go to three cancer groups here in Mallorca, CANCER SUPPORT GROUP MALLORCA, UN LAZO DE MOVIEMIENTO and ASPANOB.

However, this will be more than just a charity fundraiser, it will be Mallorca’s first bike fair and fun for the whole family.  There will be a children’s 5 km charity walk, 10 food booths, 15 commercial booths, live music, clowns, balloons and much, much more.  On the day of the event there will be 200 riders, 50 volunteers and we expected over 1,000 spectators to attend this years event.

The Riders
The riders in our event will be mostly males between the ages of 25 – 55 and roughly 75% of them will reside here in Mallorca.

The Spectators
This event will be taking place in Esporles with a population of 5,000.  The spectators for this event will be about 90% residents of Mallorca with at least 50% being Mallorquin. The rest will be an international mix.  The age of the spectators will vary drastically from very young children to senior citizens.

Why Mallorca
Mallorca is home to many of the best bicyclists in the world because of its demanding terrain, good infrastructure, quality accommodations, its pristine air, blue skies and perfect year round temperatures. Mallorca is also the premier training grounds for teams that compete in the Tour De France and the Olympics.  With over 120,000 cycling enthusiasts visiting the island each year

Media Exposure
We will be presenting our event to a broad range of media outlets including regional, national and international publications as well as local radio and TV spots plus taking full advantage of online publications and social media.   The exposure will start 6 months before the day of the event to attract riders and then full saturation will start 1 month prior to the day of the event.
